Overview

Greta Faulkner is a fictional character in the Nobody’s Property universe. She is the daughter of Nadia Mallorie Willis, the younger sister of Lenore, and the mother of Clia Daponte and Uma Daponte.

Known for her striking height, athletic presence, unusual visual style, and powerful family legacy, Greta represents a later generation of the Willis-Faulkner-Daponte family. She grows up in the long shadow of Nadia’s legend while developing an identity of her own through fitness, acting, family loyalty, personal style, and her connection to Luna Vista culture.

Biography

Early life

Born February 1, 2053 in Marquette, Michigan while her mother was living there, Greta relocated with her family at age five to Luna Vista, California (her mother's hometown). She is the only child of Nadia Willis to be born in the United States, as her elder sister Lenore was born in Germany and her elder brother Alex was born in India. Despite a large age gap of nearly fourteen years between Greta and Lenore in age, they remain emotionally significant in each other’s lives.

Greta was raised within a family shaped by Luna Vista’s unusual history, Nadia’s long and controversial reputation, and the artistic and civic mythology surrounding the descendants of Clia Foster and Nadia Willis. From an early age, Greta developed a strong sense of personal identity, physical confidence, and visual self-expression.

Adulthood

At an adult height of 6'1", Greta is the tallest known woman in her entire biological family, and the second tallest in her extended family by her eventual marriage to Spencer Daponte. Only Melissa Hartfield (Spencer's aunt by marriage), at 6'3", is taller. As an adult, Greta becomes known for her fitness-focused lifestyle, athletic build, and public presence. She is associated with acting, body sculpting, and a distinctive personal look that often blends casual workwear, vintage-inspired fashion, and bold body art.

Greta eventually marries into the Daponte family. Her eldest daughter, Clia Daponte, inherits much of the family’s artistic confidence and becomes known for nanotattoos of her own, including pieces personally connected to Greta, Nadia, and Lenore.

Appearance

Greta Faulkner is exceptionally tall, standing approximately 6'1". She is not especially curvy, instead being defined more by height, leanness, and an athletic build. Her physicality is often contrasted with Nadia’s much smaller frame, emphasizing how different generations of the family carry their power in different ways.

Greta is heterochromic, with one green eye and one blue eye, and has an anti-symmetrical aesthetic, reflected in her fashion choices, body jewelry, and personal presentation. Greta is also completely color blind in her blue eye, seeing only in grayscale on her left side, a detail that adds to the unusual way she experiences and interprets visual style. Later in her life, technology emerges which gives her the option of inserting a contact lens in that eye that allows her to see in full color out of it, but she is not fond of wearing it, and only does rarely.

Despite her build, Greta is still fond of feminine attire, though she has been known to wear jeans in both men's and women's sizes.

Greta has at least eight known nanotattoos. Most prominently, she has a sunflower on her outer right ankle that was placed by Lenore on Greta’s eighteenth birthday in 2071. She also has a shooting star (as many women in her biological family do) on her inside right wrist, though hers is inside a child abuse awareness ribbon (her maternal grandmother, Clia Foster, was severely abused as a child).

The sunflower is one of Greta’s most recognizable visual traits and is almost always visible in her acting roles. Like other nanotattoos in her era, it is removable, though Greta has often flatly stated that she has no intention of ever having it removed.

Personality

Greta is strong-willed, physically confident, and emotionally resilient. She has what many in her family call a “sleeper” temper: she does not always appear volatile at first, but when provoked, she is capable of forcefully defending herself and others, especially people who are smaller than herself. She has been known to physically throw bullies such as Mickey Doherty.

Unlike some members of her family, Greta’s intensity is often filtered through self-discipline, fitness, and public image. She generally avoids alcohol consumption because of her commitment to fitness and body sculpting, though she may occasionally have a margarita and has no issue eating food cooked with wine or other alcohol.

Greta is also deeply affectionate toward her family. Her relationships with Lenore, Clia, Uma, and Nadia reflect a mixture of teasing, artistic freedom, protective loyalty, and inherited Luna Vista boldness.

Family

Greta’s family relationships are central to her character. She is both a daughter of one of Luna Vista’s most legendary figures and the mother of children who carry that legacy into the twenty-second century.

Relationship with Nadia Mallorie Willis

Greta’s relationship with Nadia is shaped by love, legacy, and contrast. Nadia is small, sharp, infamous, and historically overwhelming; Greta is tall, athletic, visually commanding, and part of a generation that inherits Nadia’s myth rather than creating it firsthand.

As Nadia ages, Greta becomes one of the family members who helps carry the emotional and cultural weight of the Willis name. She understands that Nadia is both a mother and a legend, and much of Greta’s identity exists in the space between those two truths.

Relationship with Lenore

Lenore is Greta’s much older sister and an important figure in her life. Their age gap gives Lenore a partly protective, partly mentor-like role, while still allowing the two to relate as sisters.

Lenore’s gift of the sunflower nanotattoo on Greta’s eighteenth birthday is one of the clearest symbols of their bond. The tattoo becomes a visible, lasting reminder of sisterhood, adulthood, and family continuity.

Relationship with Clia Daponte

Greta is the mother of Clia Daponte, who becomes one of the most visually expressive descendants of Nadia Mallorie Willis. Greta plays a direct role in continuing the family’s tattoo traditions by taking Clia to Lenore for her sixteenth birthday nanotattoos.

Through Clia, Greta’s influence carries into a new generation. Clia’s monarch butterfly and shooting star tattoos connect her to both Greta and the broader Willis family tradition of visible, meaningful markings.

Career and Public Image

Greta is associated with acting and public performance. Her height, fitness, visible sunflower nanotattoo, and unusual visual identity make her a memorable presence in roles where she appears. The sunflower on her ankle is especially recognizable and often remains visible on screen.

Her public image blends strength, style, and approachability. While she comes from a family surrounded by violence, myth, and controversy, Greta’s own presentation often leans more toward athletic glamour, family loyalty, and confident self-expression.

In the Nobody’s Property Universe

Greta represents the long-term legacy of Nadia Mallorie Willis. By Greta’s era, Nadia is no longer merely a person but a civic and cultural force whose actions have become part of Luna Vista’s identity. Greta’s role helps show how that legacy affects descendants who must live with both the protection and the burden of the Willis name.

She also bridges generations between Nadia and Clia Daponte. Through Greta, the story connects the original Luna Vista vigilante mythology to the nanotattoo-heavy, high-status, visually expressive culture of the twenty-second century.
