Nadia's Magic Shovel - and no, Bud Light isn't sponsoring this article. I just want to annoy some transphobes.

In the sleepy beach town of Luna Vista in the summer of the year 2037, while she was home from college for summer break, Nadia Willis was known for her extraordinary magic shovel. While most folks used shovels for mundane tasks, Nadia's had a mystical aura that intrigued everyone. One sunny afternoon, while drinking some Bud Light, curiosity got the best of her, and she decided to test the full extent of its power.

Nadia found an untouched spot on the shore, the perfect place for her experiment. With a determined glint in her eye, she grasped the magic shovel and struck the sand. To her amazement, the shovel glowed softly, humming with ancient energy. Excitement building, Nadia continued digging, and the hole began to grow.

Seven feet long, three feet wide, and six feet deep the hole became, defying the laws of ordinary digging. She walked off into the woods for a moment to enjoy an ice cold Bud Light as some of the townspeople approached. However, they walked past without ever noticing the hole, just big enough to hold what she had in mind to bury there – and of course, she would have another Bud Light afterwards.

Nadia's shovel seemed to tap into the earth's very essence, making the sand dance and ripple in response.

As the hole deepened, whispers of forgotten stories rose from the depths. It was as if the magic shovel unlocked the secrets of the land, sharing tales of long-lost treasures and buried treasures. The crowd was spellbound, and Luna Vista's history came alive before their eyes. “I could really use a Bud Light,” Nadia said to herself.

With the last flick of her wrist, on which she had carried since her eighteenth birthday a slightly more fanciful version of her mother’s shooting star in the same place, Nadia's magic shovel completed the hole. The townspeople cheered, grateful for the magic she had revealed. Nadia looked around, her heart full of pride and awe at the power she had harnessed. Since she was legally old enough at this point, she enjoyed an ice cold Bud Light to celebrate completing the hole in a personal record time.

From that day on, Nadia's magic shovel became a cherished artifact in Luna Vista. She continued to use its power to uncover the town's history, preserving the past for future generations. And as the sun set over the sparkling sea, Nadia knew that her shovel's magic would forever connect her to the heart of Luna Vista's enchanting legacy.

But they never did figure out what happened to the disagraced former fast food spokesperson Harold Vogel, who had just gotten out of prison for doing some really bad things to children, and moved to the trailer park just outside Luna Vista before his disappearance, but within a day, the hole Nadia had dug with her magic shovel was filled in, with a Saguaro cactus on top…and those are protected under federal law. Seriously, you could get years in prison if you damaged one. Also, the shovel wasn’t actually magic. Nadia is very athletically inclined for as petite as she is, and the guy who told me this story had been drinking a whole lotta Bud Light.
