This is part of the Nobody’s Property illustrated series, following Nadia Willis in the fictional city of Luna Vista.
NADIA (night terror): Leave her alone!
GRETA: It's just a bad dream.
NADIA: Every year, I say to myself... Maybe not this year... but like clockwork... for the last 45 years... I'm going ahead and getting up... I'm not sure I can sleep now...
GRETA: Every generation after you is here because you did what you had to do... just saying.
NADIA: Wait a minute... I thought you were in Albuquerque on a film shoot.
GRETA: Just wrapped up and got back yesterday...
SASHA: I still find it cruel that fate fell on her to do the deed…
GRETA: She still can’t reconcile it after all these years…
SASHA: I hope I’m never faced with a choice like that…
GRETA: …but I like to think I wouldn’t hesitate…
SASHA: Greta, I like to think most people are already afraid to give you or yours any crap…
GRETA (thinking): I know you’re almost 70…but did you seriously just say “crap”?
SASHA: Especially since you gave that child abusing prick up the road a good toss…literally.
GRETA: I’ve never had much tolerance for bullies…
SASHA: Not to mention that bully back in seventh grade who was picking on the smaller kids…
GRETA: Same guy…he never learned his lesson.
SASHA: I don’t think he’ll be punching toddlers again any time soon…
GRETA: I hope not…for his sake.
